Adam Montefiore, born in England, has been advancing Israeli wine for over 30 years. He is a wine industry veteran having worked for Israel’s two most famous wineries, Golan Heights Winery & Carmel Winery. During all this time he has been arguably the most visual champion of Israeli wine, being referred to as the English voice of Israeli wine and the ambassador of Israeli wines. He is the wine writer for the Jerusalem Post and has written or contributed to the books ‘Wine Route of Israel’, ‘The New Book of Israeli Food’ and ‘Wines of Israel’. He contributes to Hugh Johnson’s Pocket Wine Book, the world's largest selling wine book, Oz Clarke’s Pocket Wine A-Z and Jancis Robinson’s The Oxford Companion To Wine, the leading wine reference book.
